  • Goedhuis, December 2023

Les Longeroies has a superb location in the appellation and is rightly one of the village’s vineyards being put forward for Premier Cru promotion. The 2022 is a rich and ample wine, with a melée of flavours; Morello cherry, loganberry, and fruit pavlova. Silky and creamy, this is generous and rich on the finish.

  • Burghound, January 2024, Score: 90-92

From both the upper and lower climats. This is aromatically similar to the Clos du Roy but with touches of plum and spice. The super-sleek, intense and velvet-textured medium-bodied flavours aren't quite as austere while displaying a similar level of minerality on the lingering finale that isn't quite as complex, though that of course may change with cellar time. • Wine Advocate, January 2024, Score: 91-93

Bright and giving, the 2022 Marsannay Les Longeroies bursts with scents of cherries, red berries, orange zest and peony. Medium to full-bodied, suave and fleshy, with an enveloping core of fruit and supple tannins, it concludes with a bright, mouthwatering finish.

Region

Marsannay

The most northerly appellation of the Cote d'Or, Marsannay is also the only appellation authorised to produce red, white and rose wine. Only created in 1987, this is an interesting area where quality is improving. Top producers include Bruno Clair, Meo-Camuzet and Denis Mortet.
