2023 Bourgogne Blanc Antoine Jobard
£150.00 In Bond £200.74 Inc VAT (£33.45 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2024
A blend of five different parcels within the commune of Meursault, as made in 2022. We tasted just two days after bottling and it was already showing all its colours! A Meursault-esque viscosity with ripe apricot and yellow fruit flavours. Creamy and seductive, with forward drinking charm.

The 2023 Bourgogne Blanc has a light apple blossom bouquet with fine delineation. The palate is a bit soft around the edges, but it's nicely spiced with nectarine and passion fruit toward the finish. Drink over two or three years.

Glorious in every respect, this is the definition of a QP wine, and it sums up Jobard’s skill, the better qualities of the 2023 vintage and its site in Meursault. I absolutely love it and the value for money is sublime, too.

High toned and lemony. Well-mannered and just the job if you are looking for a Bourgogne Blanc. GV (JR)

In bottle. Pale lemon, quite a soft and sunny nose, deeper white fruit on the palate, adequate acidity, some length. A bit chunky. Drink from 2026-2028. Tasted Nov 2024.
