The broadest measure of the market is the Liv-ex Fine Wine 1000, which tracks 1,000 wines from across the world comprised of 7 sub-indices which cover Bordeaux, Burgundy, Italy, Champagne, Rhone, and the Rest of the World. The Fine Wine 1000 has recorded growth of 23% over the past 12 months and 47% growth over the past 5 years (correct as of September 2022). This growth demonstrates the market as a whole strengthening, rather than just Bordeaux and Burgundy.
