The northern Rhone Valley is home to elegant, complex Cote Rotie, muscular long-lived Hermitage and Cornas and less grand but hugely appealing fruit-rich Crozes Hermitage and St Joseph. The south produces Cotes du Rhone, Gigondas and Vacqueyras, and heading west to the Languedoc you will find the home of delicious, great value Piquepoul, house favourite Domaine Begude and a stunning Corbières.
