Meet Domaine Schaller | Chablis' rising star

“They are the future!” — according to Chablis’ leading names.

Domaine Schaller is one of the most exciting new domaines to emerge from Chablis in a generation. Founded by siblings Elodie and Camille Schaller, the domaine has grown from its first 2,000 bottles in 2014 to 14 hectares of vines today. Under Camille’s guidance, the wines capture the true spirit of Chablis -  pure, energetic, and vibrant, with minimal oak influence. Offering exceptional quality and value from £22–£32.50 per bottle, they are among the appellation’s most exciting discoveries.

We are delighted to introduce a small selection of their superb 2024 vintage.

From older vineyards predating the origins of the domaine planted back in 1978, this cuvée sees 30% oak during the vinification and elevage. Broader in style and creamier in texture than the straight Chablis, there is still no doubting its origins. With enticing oystershell freshness on the nose, this has great drive and direction. Beautifully long, this is an excellent example of old vine complexity.

Premier Cru Vau de Vey is a later ripening Premier Cru and therefore possesses great vibrance and cool intense crispness. This 2024 is a beautiful example, with a zesty perfume of freshly squeezed lemon and limes. It has a wonderful, chiselled freshness, with chalky mineral intensity. The breadth of fruit builds in the palate, providing balance and persistence.

Striking lime-tinged hue. This is all about purity and brightness, with charming white stone fruit aromas. The crystalline palate has a touch of seashore salinity and controlled intensity, with a fine energetic lift on the finish.
