Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
The dominant force in this old vine cuvée of Bourgogne Blanc comes from the Les Palland vineyard close to Puligny, where the vines are between 45 and 70 years old. The palate is brimming with juicy citrus, orange blossom and hints of kiwi. Bright acidity is wonderfully balanced with careful use of large oak barrels to add texture and creaminess without any overt oakiness.

The location of these vines on the slopes of Monthelie is warm, with a fine catchment of sunlight. This is so approachable: very light notes of truffle and almond on the nose with a touch of reduction and plenty of fresh citrus. Mouthwatering ripe apricot and a sweet orange flavour linger on the finish.

£280.00 In Bond £336.00 Inc VAT (£56.00 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
A slightly different blend for this brilliant Meursault in 2024, now from four plots instead of five, the Les Criots grapes have been separated to make their own cuvee. The four plots are in different locations, aspects, and soil types across the appellation. There is a beautiful structure in this wine, with great mineral, stony structure against surprising depth. This has a direct and serious core but is softened by creaminess on the finish. Beautiful.

A very central lieu-dit close to the village below the town hall. West facing and shaded in the morning, it makes the most of the afternoon sun and has brilliant ripeness. Tonnes of zest and energy here with some biting freshness and delicious ripe stone fruit flavours. Hints of jasmine and rose add elegance and complexity.
2024 Meursault Les Criots Jean-Philippe Fichet New Released 17/12/2025
£310.00 In Bond £392.74 Inc VAT (£65.45 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
This is the first vintage of this cuvée. Jean-Philippe has just 0.11 hectares, previously incorporated into his Meursault village bottling. It has been supplemented by additional vines from his sister, bringing the total production to ten barrels. The site is particularly interesting due to its high mineral content, which is clearly reflected in the wine, with aromas of rose petal, a bright lime zest on the palate and a firm, stony profile with a strong sense of place.
2024 Meursault Les Gruyaches Jean-Philippe Fichet New Released 18/12/2025
£350.00 In Bond £420.00 Inc VAT (£70.00 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
From the oldest vineyards on the estate, the vines are 97 years old, having been planted back in 1928 by Jean-Philippe’s grandfather. They continue to provide plentiful fruit with a very profound fruit quality, as one would expect from such an aged vineyard. The wine has a quiet and slow power that builds in the glass. Layers of smoke and toast with greengage and white peach are in perfect harmony. This has such charm and elegance.
2024 Meursault Les Chevalières Jean-Philippe Fichet New Released 18/12/2025
£380.00 In Bond £456.00 Inc VAT (£76.00 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
Chevalières is one of the appellation’s finest lieux dit, deriving its name from being the location where travellers would change horses as they continued their journeys through the region towards Auxey-Duresses. Mineral and fine in this cooler vintage, but still with plenty of ripe white fruit and a citrus core. There is a faint herbal note which lingers on the palate as well as a rich creaminess.
2024 Meursault Le Tesson Jean-Philippe Fichet New Released 18/12/2025
£395.00 In Bond £474.00 Inc VAT (£79.00 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
Talk to the senior growers in the village, and they are all in agreement: this is Meursault’s Premier Cru that never was. It is only due to a quirk of history and appellational bureaucracy that it isn’t classified as one. This wine always has an outstanding balance of citrus and creaminess. Bursting with a core of pineapple, it is saline and super fresh. Refined and regal, this is Jean-Philippe’s smallest cuvée, always punching above its weight and should be snapped up whenever possible.
2024 Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Referts Jean-Philippe Fichet New Released 18/12/2025
£495.00 In Bond £594.00 Inc VAT (£99.00 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
Les Referts is Puligny Montrachet’s last Premier Cru before you arrive in the commune of Meursault. Its clay and marl soils are more akin to its neighbour, and therefore makes a bolder style of Puligny, whilst retaining a purity and citrus zest which is tantalising. So floral and mineral with scents of acacia and a salty breeze. Orange zest and stone fruit characters lend body to the wine, and a strict mineral finish ensures there is no mistaking its provenance. Such a delicious cuvée.
