The 2023 Pommard Chanlins, which Laurent Lignier replanted in recent years, offers black fruit, hints of pine and light tertiary scents on the nose. The palate is cohesive, structured and medium-bodied with fine tannins and a lovely peppery finish. This is excellent. 89 - 91 points. Drink 2026 - 2036. Neal Martin, Vinous

Purchased 2009, replanted in two parts since, in 2013 and 2018. Fullish crimson red. Quite an elegant nose for Chanlins, the grapes have achieved ideal ripeness which contributes to the gloss. Stricter behind, medium length from these young vines. Drink from 2030-2036. 90-92 points. 4 / 5 Stars. Jasper Morris.

Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2024
From the lower slopes of Pommard, there are parts of the vineyard which were planted way back in 1900, resulting in an extremely intense and concentrated wine. Once again, this wine was vinified using 100% whole clusters, such was the quality of fruit from these exceptional old vines. The nose displays intense black cherry and blackberry fruit, with a nod towards sweet liquorice and black pepper spice. With its soft, ripe tannins, concentration of fruit, and geniality, this is a Pommard which perfectly sums up Pinot Noir from 2023. It will age like a dream too!
