Goedhuis, December 2014
Blended from 11 different parcels within the village, this has an appealing nose of cocoa and vanilla. In the mouth the loganberry fruit flavours become more concentrated supported by the striking grainy tannic structure. A good full powerful style.

Neal Martin, December 2014, Score: 87-89
A barrel blend of 12 barrels with around 25% new, the 2013 Vosne-Romanée Village has a clean and pure raspberry and crushed-strawberry nose. The palate is soft in the mouth with fine acidity, gaining a little more structure and masculinity toward the finish. This should give five or six years of pleasure, possibly longer. Burghound, January 2015, Score: 88-91
(40% of the blend is from Aux Ravioles on the Nuits border). Here the expressive nose blends both upper and lower register aromas of spice and floral nuances with notes of pomegranate and plum. There is a lovely mouth feel to the lightly mineral-inflected medium weight flavors that possess fine volume and intensity before culminating in a dusty, serious and mildly austere finish. This too will need up to a decade of cellar time to reveal its full potential. Drink 2021+

Sarah Marsh, November 2014, Score: 16.25
Subtle, restrained and pure. Light, ripe with delicate tannins. The wine has a lighter balance; plenty of fine, supple tannins; uplifted and petally. Less rich than the tannin of the 2012. It has charm. Score 16.25
Region
Vosne Romanée
The vineyards of the modest village of Vosne Romanée are arguably the most sought after in the Côte d'Or. It is host to excellent Village and Premier Cru wines, but it is its most famous Grand Crusthat truly stand out: Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg, Grands Echézeaux, Echézeaux, Romanée St. Vivant and La Romanée as well as Cros Parentoux, a Premier Cru vineyard which attracts Grand Cru attention (and prices). Vosne-Romanée can be remarkably robust and powerful, yet be charming and fleshy giving it one of the most diverse styles of the region.
