Fine Wine | White Burgundy
The home of one of the world’s greatest white grapes: Chardonnay. The cool climate of Burgundy ensures the wines retain a penetrating acidity, whilst oak and ageing on lees can give them depth and richness. The Côte de Beaune is famed for the great villages of Chassagne Montrachet, Puligny Montrachet and Meursault, which are capable of producing wines of incredible depth and often power as well. Other villages of this unique region, such as Chablis, St Aubin and St Romain, and the Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais to the South, can offer tremendous quality, character and value.
