Our team has just returned from a week at the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux tastings of the 2024 vintage. Tasting over hundreds of wines from across all the major appellations, we found successes in every region; this is very much a château-to-château vintage, in which guidance is key. It was a vintage that tested the mettle of the vineyard managers: those who held their nerve and focused on quality over quantity have yielded some truly excellent results.
