  • Goedhuis Waddesdon, February 2026

A gorgeous bright Pinot Noir from the always excellent value Waddesdon Rothschild Collection. Packed with red fruit notes, wild strawberry and cherry, with hints of menthol and a whisper of smoke, this is well-balanced, with an aromatic finish and long, fine tannins.

Producer

Waddesdon Rothschild Collection

Carefully curated by the team at Waddesdon Wine Rothschild Collection, these Pays d'Oc wines launched in 2021 and sourced from the Languedoc are a stunning example of the extraordinary wines produced in the South of France.

Region

Languedoc

The Languedoc covers a vast swathe of the south of France, stretching from Nimes in the east to Toulouse in the west. It is home to France’s best value wines, and to appellations as varied as Picpoul de Pinet (a refreshing white wine from the Mediterranean coast) to Minervois (a deeply structured, rustic red wine from the wild hillsides).
