One of the highlights of our wine tastings is always the charming Sylvie and her magnificent cheeses. We gave them their own room last night as the “scent” of the cheese can fight a little with the perfume of the wines….
The cheeses come from Maitre Philippe Olivier who has a fantastic shop in Boulogne. Sylvie runs his London operation taking regular deliveries and maturing the cheese to perfect ripeness. Sadly there is no shop for browsing but Sylvie can organise deliveries. We have always found her cheeses to be in impeccable condition, utterly delicious and keenly priced.

I cannot reccommend the Beaufort highly enough, but anything Sylvie suggests can be relied upon. We are certainly looking forward to choosing the cheeses for the Goedhuis Christmas lunch.
