Here are the photos of some of the highlights of last week’s rosé tasting – 1,000 cupcakes, 600 bottles of wine, a steel band and lots of happy (and oh so glamorous) guests….

A glass of St Baillon is always the perfect way to start an evening
poured by the inimitable Hervé Goudard
with delicious spinach and ricotta rolls and rosemary and sea salt focaccia from Flour Power City Bakery
and a bit of reggae in the back ground.
Domaine Ott’s stunning posters made us dream of Provence
as did their delicious Clos Mireille.
Ginger Jar’s brilliant emerald green pea, broad bean and mint crostini were a perfect match
while the paintings made us dizzy.
Alain Riviere of Ch d’Esclans poured Whispering Angel and Ch d’Esclans in magnum
with scrumptious bread, rillettes and tapanade from Paul in a supporting role.
Romain Reverdy is our hero
his Sancerre was on top form
perfectly matched to Sylvie’s Crottin de Chavignol.
Upstairs and on to two delicious wines from Ch de Sours (and the biggest bottle of the evening)
poured by chateau owners Martin Krajewski and his charming wife Nicolette
with a very determined crowd around Manicomio’s delicious Parma ham and Parmesan.
De Bruyne’s delicious rosé Champagne is a new addition to our list
while the kiln roasted salmon and smoked trout patés from Upton Smokery were utterly sublime. Go online and order some now…..

Charles Ridler had his work cut out
pouring Laurent Perrier Rosé for the crowds
while Annabel Evans’ spectacular cupcakes and exquisitely decorated table made you stop in your tracks.
