Introducing Domaine Sylvian Bzikot

Finding a new domaine in Puligny-Montrachet is no easy feat, so we’re delighted to introduce the excellent Sylvain Bzikot to our Burgundy portfolio following a hugely successful tasting at the Grands Jours de Bourgogne.

Founded by Sylvain’s grandfather, who emigrated from Poland before the Second World War, the 15ha domaine is now organically farmed and, under Sylvain’s guidance, has become one of Puligny’s standout addresses.

The 2024s are beautifully pure and immediately pleasurable, with 12 months’ élevage in cask followed by a short period in stainless steel.

Our top tip? Don’t overlook the Bourgogne. From vineyards in Puligny just outside the appellation, it offers remarkable finesse and class - a true mini-Puligny at a fraction of the price.

    A fine Chardonnay from vineyards outside the appellation of Puligny Montrachet. Lemon yellow colour, with rewarding aromas of panna cotta and nectarine. A full and ripe style with hints of Meursault-like round creaminess. Forward and deliciously approachable in style.

  • IN BOND prices exclude UK Duty and VAT. Wines can be purchased In Bond for storage in Private Reserves or another bonded warehouse, or for export to non-EU countries. Duty and VAT must be paid before delivery can take place.

  • RETAIL prices include UK Duty and VAT. Wines for UK delivery can only be purchased this way.

Additional Information

  • Duty Paid wines have been removed from Bond and cannot subsequently be returned to Bond.  VAT is payable on Duty Paid wines. These wines must remain Duty Paid but can be purchased as such for storage subject to VAT.

  • En Primeur wines can only be purchased In Bond. On arrival in the UK these wines can either be stored In Bond in Private Reserves or another bonded warehouse or delivered directly to you. When you decide to take delivery, Duty and VAT at the prevailing rate become payable.

  • EP: En Primeur. These wines are lying in the Domaines’ cellars until shipping. They can only be purchased In Bond. On arrival in the UK these wines can either be stored In Bond in Private Reserves or another bonded warehouse or delivered directly to you. When you decide to take delivery, Duty and VAT at the prevailing rate become payable.
