Goedhuis, December 2019
This vineyard is the envy of the village, sitting between Le Montrachet and Criots Bâtard Montrachet, although at a slightly lower altitude. A gorgeously ostentatious cuvée, rich in flavours of crème anglaise and fresh fruit salad. Whilst noticeably full, it maintains a feeling of harmony and composure and lingers beautifully in the palate.

Burghound, June 2020, Score: 90-93
There is a whiff of matchstick to the otherwise fresh combination of citrus zest, lavender and pear scents where a hint of passion fruit sneaks in. There is excellent richness to the full-bodied and powerful flavors that also brim with dry extract that buffers the moderately firm acid spine on the sappy finish that exhibits notably better length. This is a big wine that is going to need at least a few years to unwind and add a bit more overall complexity. Drink 2026+ Outstanding

Chassagne Montrachet
The white wines of Chassagne Montrachet can be difficult to distinguish from Puligny. At their most typical they are slightly fleshier and more hedonistic, but are often just as mineral and refined making the two almost inseparable. When distinguishable, they offer notes of honeysuckle, lime blossom and honey. Many have become quite approachable when young. It is larger than Puligny with vineyards totalling over 330 hectares. Though it shares both the grand cru vineyards of Le Montrachet and Bâtard Montrachet, it has sole ownership of the miniscule Criots Bâtard Montrachet. Similar to Puligny, Chassagne also grows Pinot Noir, which can be austere when young. A small amount of red Chassagne is also made.
