Here at Goedhuis, we make no secret of our great love of Burgundy. We really are extraordinarily fortunate to work with such a wide range of talented, highly distinctive and committed growers. Our buyers are always on the lookout for appropriate new estates to work with, or different vintages, appellations, vineyards or cuvées from the domaines we already work with. We are also always looking for new ways of spreading the word, educating, encouraging experimentation and, hopefully, inspiring our customers to share our excitement about this great wine region.
So it is a great honour and hugely appreciated (thank you Decanter judges!) to be named Decanter Burgundy Specialist Retailer of the Year for the second year in a row.

We do get a fair few perks in the wine trade, in the form of tastings, dinners, etc but I have to say that Decanter really know how to put on a party. In a stunning art deco ballroom at the Connaught, one wall entirely covered in vintage mirrored glass, with a seemingly endless supply of Charles Heidsieck, this was a moment to celebrate the hard work of so many great businesses in the wine trade.
