2024 Marsannay Cuvée Marie Ragonneau Charles Audoin
£165.00 In Bond £198.00 Inc VAT (£33.00 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
Named in honour of Cyril’s great-grandmother, who lost her husband in World War One but still managed to keep the estate intact to pass on to the next generation. The fruit for this cuvée comes from the Domaine's oldest vines in five different locations across the Marsannay commune and as such makes for a fantastic expression of the village style. An abundance of red cherry aromatics, a supple and charming style. This is always the Domaine's most approachable cuvée in its youth and it shows Pinot Noir purity at its absolute best.

Burghound, April 2026, Score: 87-89
(from Les Crais, La Pucine and Les Plantes Pitois). An exuberantly fresh and relatively high-toned nose features notes of the essence of red pinot fruit that are nuanced by hints of herbal tea and earth. The sleek, delicious and detailed middle weight flavors deliver solid length on the lightly austere bitter pit fruit-inflected finale. To enjoy after only 2 to 4 years of keeping. Drink 2028.

2024 Marsannay Les Longeroies Charles Audoin
£195.00 In Bond £234.00 Inc VAT (£39.00 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
Awaiting its upgrade to Premier Cru status, the Longeroies vineyard sits at the north of the Marsannay commune and is split in two, with the upper part sited on limestone slabs and the lower composed of reddish marl. A classy vineyard which always achieves the very highest quality in bottle. An array of late summer fruits, fresh currant, damson and a sweetening sensation of syrup of cherries. A very layered wine, with a fine tannic composition. The structure of the marl soil contributes to a fine body with a long and meticulous finish.

Burghound, April 2026, Score: 89-91
(from both the upper and lower climats). Here too there is a subtle application of wood present on the firmly reduced nose. More interesting are the slightly more voluminous medium-bodied flavors that possess a bit more power though not quite the same overt minerality on the lightly austere and lingering finale. Drink 2030+.

2024 Marsannay Clos du Roy Charles Audoin
£195.00 In Bond £234.00 Inc VAT (£39.00 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
Located to the north of the commune on a steep, east-facing slope over a bedrock of hard Comblanchien limestone, this vineyard produces one of Marsannay’s more powerful wines. Sometimes a cuvée that needs time to show its charms, in 2024, it is a juicier and more succulent style, with a lovely expression of fleshy ripe fruit. The finish ends with some deeper, dark black forest fruit flavours, remaining long and continuous giving a feeling of complexity and depth.

Burghound, April 2026, Score: 88-91
A more deeply pitched and layered nose features notes of plum, red and dark currant and a discreet touch of oak. There is slightly better volume to the succulent yet relatively powerful medium weight flavors that are notably more mineral-driven on the more compact and equally austere finale. Drink 2030.

2024 Gevrey Chambertin Charles Audoin
£255.00 In Bond £306.00 Inc VAT (£51.00 Per Bottle)-
Goedhuis Waddesdon, December 2025
The vines for this cuvée are on average 60-years-old, bringing a wealth of complexity and depth to this village-level Gevrey. There are two sources of fruit, Les Crais and Les Coisettes to the north and west of the village. An abundant scent of freshly picked strawberries, with a great clarity of red fruits on the palate. The finish has a creamy sensation and hints of mocha and spice. A very fine village cuvée.

Burghound, April 2026, Score: 89-92
(from Les Crais and La Croix des Champs, both of which are on the eastern side of D974). Much like the Champ Salomon, the brooding nose is somber and inexpressive, offering only glimpses of its dark berry, humus-tinged earth and plenty of sauvage nuances. There is excellent volume to the suave, round and seductively textured medium weight flavors that evidence ample power on the sappy, balanced and highly persistent finale. This is a wine that could be approached after only 4 to 5 years yet reward up to 10. One to look for. Drink 2032+.
