Meet Camille Thiriet | Limited Burgundy parcels
“Wines that stop you in your tracks.” Neal Martin
Camille Thiriet is one of Burgundy’s most exciting new names. A former perfume “nose” with no family history in wine, she has quickly become a cult figure among Burgundy’s new generation of micro-négociants, guided along the way by some of the region’s greats, including Jeremy Seysses of Dujac and Bernard Noblet of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
Working with tiny parcels and precious old vines around Comblanchien and the Côte de Nuits-Villages, Thiriet is proving that overlooked appellations can produce wines of extraordinary finesse. Her signature combination of whole-bunch vinification, mineral tension and haunting perfume results in wines that are beautifully silky, lifted and utterly distinctive.
Produced in tiny quantities and increasingly difficult to find, this is a rare chance to secure 2024 bottles from one of Burgundy’s rising cult stars.
