Weingut Schnaitmann | Württemberg Pinot Noir

Weingut Schnaitmann is located in Fellbach, a large town near Stuttgart, in the Württemberg wine region. The estate was founded in 1997 by winemaker Rainer Schnaitmann, although the family has been cultivating vines here for over 500 years. An extremely talented winemaker, Rainer was invited to join the prestigious VDP organisation that represents the country’s top producers after just eight years, a feat otherwise unheard of. If you have not yet tried the Pinot Noir wines from Schnaitmann, you must. The wines are never forced, and his propensity to use some whole bunch gives them an irresistibly fragrant, subtly spiced characteristic. We have chosen two fantastic Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir) wines from Rainer’s portfolio that left some of us thinking we were in the Cotes de Nuits! With Burgundy prices the way they are these days, we cannot urge you enough to consider these incredibly fine examples from the Württemberg.

These wines are not available online please email or call us for details.
