Hundred Acre Wine Group is the ultra-premium cult project of Jayson Woodbridge, owner, vintner and visionary. His motto is concise: ‘stand amongst the very best or not at all’. And that he has achieved without apology. After selling his house, business, and just about everything else, he bought his first vineyard in Napa Valley in 1998 and never looked back. Summer Dreams is one of Jayson's newest wine projects where the wines are sourced from micro-block sites that showcase the quality of the vineyards of Sonoma Coast.
THE AREA
Known for its cool climate and high rainfall, the Sonoma Coast AVA (Sonoma’s largest AVA) is an expansive appellation extending from San Pablo Bay to the border of Mendocino. Not surprisingly, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the stars here, which benefit from the region’s cool temperatures and direct exposure to marine influences.
All of these wines are from very small hand farmed vineyards in the Western Sonoma Coast with each having a unique Goldridge soil sequence. The wines are all within Jason Woodbridge's unique style, but each one varies based upon the vineyard site.
