James Suckling, Score: 99
Very deep and primary fruit character in this red gives the wine amazing length and focus. It seems to go on forever. Full body yet vivid and energetic. Tannic and muscular yet so polished and finish. Drink now. But one for the cellar as well.

Luis Gutierrez, Score: 95
The 2015 was an incredibly successful vintage, blessed with a perfect growing season, resulting in a wine with optimal ripeness while preserving freshness, exceptional intensity, depth and elegance. A true expression of the extreme beauty of their exceptional terroir. This is the most elegant and refined vintage I have seen of this wine. With ultra-refined tannin, the wine is dry, very clean, not minty at all, with very good tension and length, with a chalky, tasty, almost salty finish. Of course, the classical notes of cedar wood, black peppercorns and tobacco are there, but in a very subtle way. Super elegant. Drinking 2017-2027
Region
Chile
Chile is a long, narrow country down the south west coast of South America. It has a warm, reliable Mediterranean climate with uninterrupted sunlight, which is cooled by the Humboldt Current from the Pacific and the descending air from the Andes. This is the ideal climate for viticulture and leads to lots of vibrant, healthy fruit. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot-Carmenère, and Cabernet blends dominate Chile's red wine exports and can provide extremely good-value wines for drinking withintwo or three years. As for white wines, they are mainly varietally labelled Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc wines, especially from cooler areas such as Casablanca and San Antonio.
