Neal Martin, December 2017, Score: 87-89
The 2016 Nuits St Georges Villages has a floral bouquet, wilted violet petals intermingling with dark cherries and boysenberry fruit. The palate is sweet on the entry with a fine bead of acidity, fine tannin, well-integrated oak and a harmonious, surprisingly silky finish. This is very seductive and should drink well for several years. Drink 2019-2025

Burghound, January 2018, Score: 89-91
A distinctly earthy and somewhat somber nose reflects notes of underbrush, forest floor, dark currant and plum. The rich, concentrated and relatively powerful medium weight flavors flesh both good minerality and excellent complexity on the solidly long and well-balanced finish. This is a very good Nuits villages that should drink well after a few years of cellaring. Recommended. Outstanding. Drink: 2022+

Stephen Tanzer, January 2018, Score: 87-89
Healthy dark red. Deeper-pitched and riper on the nose than the Pommard, offering aromas of redcurrant, smoke and game. A step up in sweetness as well, with redcurrant fruit lifted by a violet quality and complemented by sweet oak. A bit dusty but not dry on the back end.
