Fontaines has a clay-limestone terroir with south-south-east facing terraces overlooking the Libron. Hot summers and lots of sunny weather provoke hydric stress - which promotes very low yields and better quality grapes! The vineyards are managed in sympathy with nature and the grapes are handled extremely carefully to preserve all their flavours and aromas.Read less
