  • RETAIL prices include UK Duty and VAT. Wines for UK delivery can only be purchased this way.

  • Duty Paid wines have been removed from Bond and cannot subsequently be returned to Bond.  VAT is payable on Duty Paid wines. These wines must remain Duty Paid but can be purchased as such for storage subject to VAT.

  • En Primeur wines can only be purchased In Bond. On arrival in the UK these wines can either be stored In Bond in Private Reserves or another bonded warehouse or delivered directly to you. When you decide to take delivery, Duty and VAT at the prevailing rate become payable.

The domaine is made up of 5 hectares of vines with an average age of 45 years. This domaine in the Côte de Nuits has been in the same family for four generations and is now run by Gilles Jourdan who took control in 1997. The domaine is made up of 5 hectares of vines with an average age of 45 years. They take a traditional approach to all aspects of viticulture and winemaking: manual harvesting, traditional Burgundian cold maceration followed by a 3 week fermentation in barrel, ageing in oak for 12 months (20 % new oak). Gilles Jourdan's whites areknown for their purity and intensity and his reds focus on fruit and finesse of the tannins. The average annual production is 2700 cases of wine.Read less

Côte de Nuits Villages

This communal appellation covers the vineyards of Fixin, Brochon, Premeaux, Comblanchien, and Corgoloin. Spread along the length of the Cotes de Nuits the wines of the different communes are, unsurprisingly, varied, reflecting a range of different exposures and nuances of soild type. The vast majority of production is red, with just a smattering of Chardonnay grown. The reds can offer very good value from the better producers.

Other wines
