Beautiful inviting nose – heady and exotic, but never too much, full of orange blossom, juicy peaches and apricots, roasted almonds and lime oil. This all follows through onto the palate, richly textured and full bodied (but never oily as Viognier can sometimes get), but what really sets this apart is the long bead of acidity running through, with a really defined saltiness that makes you keep coming back for more. Really smart wine, and truly Condrieu quality for a fraction of the price. Drink your first few bottles now and hold back a couple of enjoy in a couple of years.
