  • Wine Advocate, July 2026, Score: 97

The 2025 Reserve Bin A Chardonnay is aromatically reserved and fine, with pressed white flowers, orchard fruit and river stones. The palate is far more expressive than the nose at this stage and shows flinty minerality, fine phenolics and, as usual, brilliant length. The Adelaide Hills is a fantastically diverse region for Chardonnay, and in the expressive hands of the white winemaking team, led by Kym Schroeter, this wine shows the intensity, weight and spice that the region is capable of. This is superb.

  • Matthew Jukes, July 2026, Score: 19+

The nose is grand, elevated, superbly plush and luxurious, and the fruit is expressive, and yet there is a similar finish to Bin 311 with a ratcheted tension that is simply extraordinary. Super-long, seemingly exotic and layered, but it is just the power and control that give this impression; this is a second Chardonnay that stays very much the citrus side of the tracks, and this means it will appeal to the Puligny lovers more than some of the fatter vintages in the past.
