We now have details of the wines for our 3rd March tasting from several more of our Burgundy growers:
Antoine Jobard is sending three 2006s – Meursault en la Barre, Meursault 1er Cru Genevrieres and Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots – which should be drinking beautifully already.
Nicolas Potel’s Maison Roche de Bellene is bringing a fantastic range of 2007s: Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Referts, Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru, Volnay, Volnay 1er Cru Santenots, Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Chaumes, Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru.
Damien and Caroline from Marc Colin are also bringing 2007s: St Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly & Sentier du Clou, Chassagne Montrachet Encégnières & Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Chenevottes.
Michel Colin is sending three vintages of Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru En Remilly (2006, 2007, 2008) and Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Demoiselles 2007.
Vincent Prudhon is bringing verticals of a white and red St Aubin: St Aubin 1er Cru Rouges Gorges 2008/07/06/05 and St Aubin 1er Cru Sentier du Clou 2008/07/06.
Jean-Marie Fourrier is sending his delicious Chambolle Musigny Village 2004,05 and 06 and Hudelot-Noellat, very excitingly, are talking about a vertical of Romanee St Vivant.
