Tall and sleek, I would be guilty of enjoying this wine for its beauty alone. For those less fickle amongst you, be reassured. Dönnhoff’s 2009 Svholssbockelheimer Felsenberg Dry (deep breath) comes inclusive of aromatic notes of candied fruit, mandarin and honey and buckets of charm and character. Neal Martin described it as, “a wine that is difficult to put down”.
