Hubert Lamy | 2024 Releases
Olivier Lamy’s attention to detail is always the talk of Burgundy. There are few challengers in the Côte d’Or to the hours he devotes to his vineyards and to the precision of his winemaking. His thoughtful insight and hard work are second to none and, unsurprisingly, he has driven this fine family estate to the very top echelon of St Aubin, establishing it as a flagship domaine.
Domaine Lamy, like all growers in 2024, was impacted by exceptionally small yields, the result of particularly small berries and reduced volume of juice within them. In terms of quality, Olivier continues to see the benefits of his high-density planting policy and, in particular, "massal" selection of old heritage Chardonnay vines. Combined with his new facilities, there is no stopping him.
His late released 2024s are sensationally good and a must for all white Burgundy cellars!
