Pricing

  • IN BOND prices exclude UK Duty and VAT. Wines can be purchased In Bond for storage in Private Reserves or another bonded warehouse, or for export to non-EU countries. Duty and VAT must be paid before delivery can take place.

  • RETAIL prices include UK Duty and VAT. Wines for UK delivery can only be purchased this way.

Additional Information

  • Duty Paid wines have been removed from Bond and cannot subsequently be returned to Bond.  VAT is payable on Duty Paid wines. These wines must remain Duty Paid but can be purchased as such for storage subject to VAT.

  • En Primeur wines can only be purchased In Bond. On arrival in the UK these wines can either be stored In Bond in Private Reserves or another bonded warehouse or delivered directly to you. When you decide to take delivery, Duty and VAT at the prevailing rate become payable.

    Part of a limited series, this is a truly exceptional rum that has been carefully chosen and mixed by master blender, Hernan Parra, who has made use of some of the best barrels in Dictador's 100-year-old collection. On the palate, there is a complex contrast of smoky, tobacco notes with figs, prunes, and a lovely drop of cocoa and maple on the finish. All of Dictador’s rums register less than 1g/L of sugar, which means that the finish is also drier than most, making it the perfect sipping rum to pair with a cigar or a slab of dark chocolate!

Named after Severa Arango y Ferro who arrived in Colombia in the 18th century to collect taxes for Spain, which earned him the name “Dictador”, the company was founded by one of his direct descendants, Don Julia Arango y Parra, in 1913.
