As good as it gets for this majestic Grand Cru. The Gros vines are situated on the northern sector of the vineyard, lying below Cros Parantoux. 70% whole bunch fruit is confidently expressed with its spicy scent of cinnamon, wild strawberry characters and blueberry. A very serious wine, with a mighty intensity, the central core of tannic depth is encased by an impressive layer of weighted fruit. Extremely concentrated, it builds and builds in palate. Most definitely a wine for the future.
